Beallsville, Ohio (BELZ-vil) is a village in Monroe County, just south of the Belmont County line. However, the major attraction (below) is entirely in Belmont County. In 1990, the population of Beallsville was 464. Beallsville is in Eastern Ohio, 12 mi (19 km) SE of Barnesville. Surrounding enterprises include farming, sawmilling, and coal mining. It ist located at 39°52'N latatude, 81°02'W longitude.
